An OLCC retailer can register to sell for medical purposes. This is participation in Oregon’s medical framework, not proof that the shop is medical-only.

OLCC retail and OMMP are different roles
The Oregon Medical Marijuana Program identifies eligible patients and caregivers; OLCC regulates the retailers discussed here. OAR 845-025-2900 requires an OLCC retailer to register for medical sales and allows participating retailers to sell medical-grade items to eligible cardholders and caregivers.

Check documents before visiting
The medical-sale rule requires the retailer to check matching government photo ID and a current OMMP patient or caregiver card, or a qualifying unexpired OHA receipt. It permits registered cardholders age 18 and older to enter and purchase. Do not assume an out-of-state card or a medical diagnosis alone meets these requirements.
